We Have You Covered!
Welcome Back!
Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year - another beginning and another occasion to do great things with our students!

Anne Beers is a learning community and this year we have an enormous opportunity to be a part of a movement which opens up the world of learning for our students and staff. Ms. Everette (Director of Strategy & Logistics) and Mr. Lancaster (Foreman), along with Mr. Robinson and Mr. Tucker have worked diligently to prepare the school building for opening.

We will continue to motivate and inspire our students and ourselves to achieve excellence in everything that we do but we know that we cannot do this without you - the family, parents and guardians of our young scholars. That's why we make as many resources available as possible for our families to be successful.
Beers parents are vital partners in the education of our young scholars. That's why we want you to have all of the tools you need to help your child be successful. The following resources are provided by Anne Beers Elementary School and DC Public Schools to assist your family with manuevering your acadmic journey.
Parent Handbook
2017-18 Enrollment Forms
The DCPS Parent Handbook has been created to provide families with comprehensive, but not exhaustive, information about DCPS policies, practice and protocols. The purpose of the document is to: 1) Highlight the resources and services parents need to understand and access in order to support their child's academic success and 2) Allow parents, families and community stakeholders who are interested in navigating the central office the ability to do this with ease. Use the link below to download a copy of the handbook.
To access a school that is not your in-boundary or feeder school, also referred to as an out-of-boundary school, in kindergarten through Grade 12, families must apply through the My School DC lottery.

For more information about the lottery and enrollment process for DC Public Schools, see the My School DC Lottery and Enrollment Policy handbook using the link below.
